SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENTS

$$ for Food: How you can help our Amherst area community in two ways at once! Support our special collection effort to help both people in need of food and our area restaurants. Please click HERE for further information. Thank you.

JCA Kesher: Our educational team has put together a variety of remote learning options to help keep families and kids connected to the community and their Jewish learning during these difficult times. Options range from our online digital escape room to recorded music sessions with Felicia Sloin, to hands-on projects delivered to your home in the mail, and more. Check out the full list of what we are offering at jcamherst.org/remote-learning/. The website page is password protected, so if you are a registered Kesher family but did not receive the password, please contact Shirah Neumann (shirah@jcamherst.org), or Keren Rhodes (kerenrhodes@jcamherst.org) to receive it.

Study Materials for Lunch and Learn: If you are participating in Rabbi Weiner’s daily Lunch and Learn, you will need access to two documents that currently we are using for study: CJLS GUIDANCE FOR REMOTE MINYANIM IN A TIME OF COVID-19 and REISNER INTERNET MINYAN. You will find each document here by clicking on the name.

THE JCA CLOSED EFFECTIVE MARCH 13, 2020

In response to unprecedented concern about the coronavirus, and based on recommendations from public health officials, we have determined that the best course of action to preserve and safeguard the health of our members, our staff and the wider world, is to close the JCA building for all public events effective March 13. This includes religious services, Kesher programs, adult education classes, and all committee meetings. We will continue to monitor the situation and post updates on further decisions. Thank you for your understanding.
