Financial Need
It is important to Camp Shemesh and the JCA that children be able to experience camp regardless of family financial need. We work hard to provide assistance to as many families as possible each summer. If your family will be applying for financial assistance for your campers it is important that you complete this scholarship request form immediately and email it to JCA Director of Communal Life and Learning, Keren Rhodes, kerenrhodes@jcamherst.org. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact Keren Rhodes by email or 413-256-0160 x203. Although we require a deposit upon registration, if this presents a financial hardship for your family, please submit the scholarship request form and discuss your options with Keren as soon as possible.

Registration Change/Cancellation Policy:
All registration changes or cancellations can be made by logging back in to your original registration form and changing your selections.

If you need to change your dates for camp, rather than cancel, we will gladly try to accommodate your child if there is a space available. We understand that you may need to cancel altogether. Please update your registration form as soon as possible and/or email shirah@jcamherst.org to notify us of the cancellation. If the cancellation occurs more than 30 days before the first date of the camp season*, you will receive a refund of all money paid except the $150 deposit per camper. If the cancellation occurs 15-30 days before the first date of the camp season, a 50% refund will be issued. We understand that things may come up that would prevent your child from attending camp. If it is necessary to cancel less than 2 weeks prior to the first date of the camp season, no refund will be returned.

*The first date of the camp season is June 29, 2020
